Need Help with Unemployment?

Whether you're looking to file a new unemployment claim or have questions about an existing one, here's what you need to know:

To File a Claim: Contact the Unemployment Insurance (UI) program in the state where you worked. Claims can typically be filed:

• Online Visit: www.labor.ny.gov
  
• Message: Send a secure message through your NY.gov account or Call: 1-888-209-8124

Need to reset your NY.gov password or ID?

• Call 1-800-833-3000 for assistance.

Suspect Unemployment Insurance Fraud?

• Call 1-888-598-2077 or file a report online at ny.gov/report-fraud
