Do you have an unemployment question? To file an unemployment claim, you should contact the unemployment insurance program in the state where you worked. Claims can often be filed in person, by telephone, or online. It's important to apply as soon as possible after becoming unemployed.Do you need your password/Gov ID reset? Call 1 (800) 833-3000. Do you suspect UI Fraud? Call 1 (888) 598-2077 or file a complaint online at ny.gov/report-fraud
